Our featured photo today is Lone Tree in Poulawack County Clare by George Sheils. This simple yet impactful image was captured on a self-constructed pinhole camera. Located near this area is Poulawack Cairn, a bronze age tomb built in 1900 BC which is almost 70 metres in diameter. Interestingly, a team of Harvard archaeologists found 16 people buried there contained in ten graves back in 1935.
This shot is another beautiful example of the art of pinhole photography. George's print are available from €39. You can browse or buy them here.
