Today we feature a pinhole image of Loughshinny County Dublin by George Sheils. Loughshinny is a small seaside village between Skerries and Rush. George explains:
"I revisited the village of Loughshinny a while back and took some images on a pebble beach north of the harbour. The area is predominated with folded rock formations from seismic activity many millions of years ago and geologically is quite interesting."
I really like the sharpness of this picture. The rocks extending out to sea add texture and draw your eyes into the image. There is a beautiful clarity and depth to this monochrome composition.
This print is available from €39. You can browse or buy George's prints here.
