Today we feature a dramatic black and white composition of the Dark Hedges, Co. Antrim by Darren McLoughlin. these trees were planted by the Stuart family in the 18th Century. The road leads visitors to the entrance of a Georgian mansion. You may recognise this famous place as it was used recently as "The Kings Road" in Game of Thrones! Darren explains:
"This short but impressive avenue in County Antrim is now firmly established on the tourist trail. The beech trees form a canopy over the undulating road. "
