Editor's Choice: Photo of the Day

"In this world of change, nothing which comes stays, and nothing which goes is lost."

Today we feature Poulnabrone Dolmen in  Co. Clare by Bret Culp. Located in the karst area of the Burren, this neolithic tomb is over 5000 years old. At least 16 adults and 6 children were buried under the monument, as discovered during an excavation in the late eighties. Interestingly, the site of Poulnabrone is often used by hobbyist astronomers and photographers as there is no light pollution at this isolated location. Bret has represented it beautifully in black and white.

This print is available from €50. Browse Bret Culp's print collection.
