Today we feature a simple but tranquil composition from Mike Brown taken in Youghal County Cork. Youghal is a historic and walled seaport town with settlements traced back as far as the fifth century. The vikings used Youghal as a landing point to attack monastic settlements. Old and weathered breakwaters jut out from the water in this shot. All three of Youghal's beaches have blue flags awarded for cleanliness.
