To mark the return of Game of Thrones, today we feature the Dark Hedges AKA "The King's Road" by Reuben Fields! Located in Ballymoney County Antrim, this avenue of Beech trees is one of the most mystifying locations in Northern Ireland. The road leads visitors to the entrance of the Georgian mansion located here. Reuben explains:
"I have been wanting to shoot at this location for a long time. When I arrived on the Friday night before from Dublin it was raining the whole way up and thought it might be a waste of time. However when I came back on the Saturday morning the light was perfect. This beautiful avenue of beech trees was planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century."
The light is just perfect in this composition. This print is available from €45 . You can browse or buy Reuben Field's prints here.
