Today we feature Artramon Castle Ruins in County Wexford by Ryan Devereux! He has captured this ancient tower structure as the sun sets to golden hues. Warm light is cast on the face of the building. Arrow slits (or loopholes) are the narrow windows which allowed arrows to be fired at invaders whilst maintaining a well sheltered defensive position. There isn't much information on these ruins but Ryan explains:
"Artramon Castle is a beautiful landmark located near Castlebridge, Country Wexford. It overlooks the Slaney River and was built in the 15th century I believe. "
