Our featured photo today was taken by Stephen Wallace near Slemish in County Antrim. Amazingly, the mountain is actually the remains of an extinct volcano! Slemish is the reputed location where an enslaved St Patrick was forced to herd sheep. During this time he is said to have found God. Every year people walk to the summit on St Patricks Day as a pilgrimage. The sky is ablaze in a spectrum of sunset colours. A trickling stream meanders through the vast green expanse while Mount Slemish is visible in the background.
This print is available from €20. You can browse or buy Stephen Wallace's prints here.
