Today we feature Rock Island in Crookhaven in Co. Cork by Rafal Stachura during a high tide. Crookhaven is a quiet town located at the most South-Westerly point in Ireland. Interestingly, it was used by pirates in the 16th and 17th century! Powerful waves crash off the rocks in this dramatic composition.
