Today we feature a sensational panoramic by Jennifer Coady of Comeragh Mountains in Co. Waterford. Formed by glaciation, the rugged landscape here is rocky and unforgiving. Jennifer explains:
"Captured are the Comeragh Mountains and Lake Coumshingaun located in the mountains, which is located on the Coum Tay loop, it is a great example of a corrie lake. The Comeraghs stretch from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary all the way to Dungarvan in Co. Waterford.
These were shot one Sunday in June after a very windy hike up to the lake. It had amazing views of Waterford,Tipperary and Wexford as I sat eating my well deserved lunch. I didn't venture to the very top that day as the weather wasn't the best but that will be for another day. "
