Today we feature a stunning and unique capture of Dun Briste in Co. Mayo by Darren McLoughlin. This geographical feature was formed when it broke away from the mainland over 600 years ago. Darren explains:
"Dun Briste or 'broken fort' is a sea stack off the shore of Downpatrick Head in Co. Mayo standing proud in the North Atlantic."
Interestingly, there was actually evidence of a medieval building on top of this sea stack when it was examined more than 30 years ago. This print is available from €45. You can browse or buy Darren McLoughlin's prints here.
