Today we feature Samuel Beckett bridge at night by Barry O'Carroll. This bridge connects the Dublin Docklands to Sir John Rogerson's Quay.It is designed to resembled the Celtic Harp. It s the second bridge in Dublin city designed by Santiago Caltrava who was responsible for the James Joyce bridge as well. Interestingly, this bridge can actually be rotated to allow large ships to pass through although this functionality is rarely utilised.
