Editor's Choice: Photo of the Day

Photographer: Frederick Bancale

Today we feature a great image of the rugged coast in Sutton, Co Dublin by Frederick Bancale. The Martello Tower pictured here was built as a defensive structure in 1804 during the Napoleonic era and as is one of about fifty located around the Irish coastline. The sky is alight in vivid colours in this impressive shot by Frederick.

You can see more of Frederick Bancale's prints in his gallery.
