Today we feature an image of the historic General Post Office (GPO) Building on O'Connell Street, Dublin city as captured by Barry O'Carroll. It is one of the main sites of the Easter Rising 1916 and was used as the headquarters by leaders of the Easter Rising. Barry has captured this long exposure during blue hour and without the usual crowds of people on this busy street. If you are passing the GPO, make sure to take a closer look. Bullet holes from the conflict are still visible in the six columns at the front entrance.
This print is available from €45. You can browse or buy Barry O'Carroll's prints here.
