Editor's Choice: Photo of the Day

Photographer: Rónán McLaughlin

Today we feature a captivating image of Gannets nesting on the Saltee Islands by Rónán McLaughlin. Interestingly, these birds have a lifespan of up to 35 years. They are born with black feathers but after one year their plumage starts to turn white. One gannet flies overhead is this highly unique composition which has been featured before on the front page of the Irish Times. Great shot Rónán.

This print is available from €45. Browse Rónán McLaughlin's print collection.
