Today we feature a great shot of Lough Tay, Co. Wicklow by Emma McArdle. Emma comments:
"Lough Tay, also known as the Guinness Lake, lies between the mountains of Djouce and Luggala. If you look sideways, it does look like a pint of Guinness. This image was taken close to the J.B. Malone memorial. John James Bernard (J.B.) Malone, an Irish hill walking enthuasist, was responsible for the establishment of the Wicklow Way as a recognisable walking trail, having first proposed it in 1966."
