Editor's Choice: Photo of the Day

Photographer: Trevor Cole

Today we feature a stunning black and white of Poulnabrone Dolmen in County Clare by Trevor Cole. Located in the karst area of the Burren, this neolithic tomb is over 5000 years old. At least 16 adults and 6 children were buried under the monument, as discovered during an excavation in the late eighties. Interestingly, the site of Poulnabrone is often used by hobbyist astronomers and photographers as there is no light pollution at this isolated location.

This print is available from €45. You can browse or buy Trevor Cole's prints here.
