Editor's Choice: Photo of the Day

Photographer: David Ahern

Today we feature an image taken at Malin Head, Co. Donegal by David Ahern. Located on the Inishowen Peninsula, it is the most Northerly point of Ireland. On a clear day you can see as far as Tory Island and even Scotland beyond. At low tide, its also possible to see the wreckage of 'The Twilight' which sank on its way to Derry in 1889.

You can buy this print from €45. Browse David Ahern's Gallery here.
