Today we feature Carrigadrohid Castle & Bridge under clear skies by Trish Punch. This tower house style castle was built during the middle ages (15th to 17th century) and would have housed either a local chieftain or an anglo-norman settler. Carrigadrohid literally translates to rock of the bridge and there are references to this name going back as far as 1573 so its history is long standing.
This print is available from €45. See Trish Punch's print collection here.
