Today we feature a fantastic shot of the Ha'Penny Bridge by Emma McArdle. Built 201 years ago, it is reflected perfectly on the River Liffey on a calm evening. Emma comments:
"The Ha’penny Bridge is a pedestrian bridge built in 1816 over the River Liffey in Dublin city. Originally called the Wellington Bridge (after the Duke of Wellington), the name of the bridge changed to the Liffey Bridge. The Liffey Bridge remains the bridge's official name to this day but it is most commonly referred to as the Ha'penny Bridge."
